In the following photograph, Brent the Mushroom Hunter is carrying a chainsaw. Attached to his backpack is a hardhat and a pair of earmuffs, both examples of reasonable chainsaw co-cargo. Poking out of the backpack, however, are, according to my count, six small sticks. The photograph, therefore, is a mystery and, thus, a riddle.
Terrible idea. I'm either totally stumped on the first level, or I've been duped into attempting an impossible game.
I do love riddles though. When they're real. I love the intensity with which some people tell them. I've let that intensity rub off on me. Sort of. On some riddles at least...
(Imagine a long pause right now while I go off secretly to do something ridiculous and clearly unnecessary.)
In order to prove the intensity with which I tell riddles, I decided I needed to film myself telling a riddle and post it here.
I went to Seesmic , somewhere I hadn't been in many moons. And I felt kind of wrong just jumping in and telling a riddle on the public timeline out of nowhere, so I gave a little rave about my absence from Seesmic and my reasons for the riddle, and then I told it. But, of course, since I'd distracted myself from the riddle with thoughts about Seesmic and the story of why I wanted to tell a riddle, when I told it, I told it without the proper full intensity.
Anyway, here's the video. Seesmic. Silliness...
A RiddleBack on Seesmic after a long time away. Hoping Seesmic will forgive. Stumped by www.weffriddles.com. Feeling frustrated. Feeling the need to tell a riddle. About a bartender. And a thank you.
